I’m taking part in Moorfields Eye Charity’s annual Eye to Eye 2026 walk on Sunday 28th June.

Moorfields is a cause deeply close to my heart. They believe that people’s sight matters, just like me.
In June 2024 I had to have urgent eyesight-saving surgery courtesy of Moorfields Eye Hospital. The staff there were, and continue to be, supportive, helpful and, in short, absolutely amazing. I promised them that when I felt up to it, one day, I would give something back, and that opportunity has arisen, thanks to this sponsored walk.

This charity funds life-changing eye research to deepen our understanding of eye disease and help bring new treatments to patients faster than ever before. They invest in innovative education programmes to help train the next generation of eye specialists.
Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Trust helps patients across the country to access world-class eye care, the likes of which I did not realise was available in the UK. They have not only helped cure me of Thyroid Eye Disease but they continue to monitor my condition so that I can get the best care I can.
Please, dig deep and donate what you can as I take on this challenge – every little helps in the fight against sight loss.
Love, Lyndon
